1. Our Commitment

NK Help Hands Foundation, a Section 8 Company registered under the Companies Act, 2013 (CIN: U88900BR2026NPL085766), is deeply grateful for every contribution made towards our food distribution, health checkup camp, skill development and marriage support programmes. This Policy explains how we handle refunds and cancellations relating to donations.

2. Donations Are Generally Non-Refundable

As a matter of policy, donations made to NK Help Hands Foundation are voluntary and non-refundable, since contributions are utilised promptly towards our ongoing charitable programmes for the benefit of underserved communities. Please donate only after being sure of your decision and the cause you wish to support.

3. Exceptions

We understand that genuine errors can occur. We will consider a refund request in the following limited circumstances:

  • Duplicate transaction: you were charged more than once for the same donation due to a technical or banking error.
  • Incorrect amount: an amount higher than intended was transferred due to a typing or technical error.
  • Unauthorised transaction: a transaction was made from your account without your authorisation, subject to verification.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund under the exceptions above, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction with the following details:

  • Full name and contact number used at the time of donation;
  • Date and amount of the transaction;
  • Mode of payment (UPI reference number / bank transaction ID);
  • Reason for the refund request.

5. Processing Time

Once a refund request is verified and approved, we will process it within 7–10 working days. Refunds, where approved, will be credited back to the same bank account or payment method used for the original transaction — we do not process refunds in cash or to a different account.

6. Cancellation of Recurring Donations

If in the future we offer recurring/monthly donation options, you may cancel any future recurring contribution at any time by contacting us; cancellation will apply prospectively and will not entitle you to a refund of instalments already processed.

7. Tax Receipts & 80G Status

Our 80G/12A tax-exemption registration is currently in process. Until this is obtained and communicated on our Website, donations are not eligible for tax deduction under the Income Tax Act, 1961. This Policy does not affect that status.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. The updated Policy will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
